Host A Giveaway and A Giveaway

Selamat Sore from Bali!

You guys, even though I have visited Bali like hundred six times, I super like it! Especially for its food and topography (Look at me all fancy, using the word I learnt from, and used only, at school). Bali has the bluest sea on one side, and luscious greenery on the other side. Speaking of which, I rocked off my last week goal there, on the luscious greenery of rice fields. Last week, I shared with you that I want to do something different in Bali, something I have never done before there. I did a brief research; by brief I mean five minutes and decided to take a cooking class. I even managed to drag Hulk with me. I will keep the elaborate story for next time; for now let’s just say it was a success since we ate what we cooked and I am still here typing to you.

How about you? What did you do for your weekly wish? I hope you also get to tick off your weekly goals – or throw it forever as some goals are not worth it you guys, like to eat less sugary food. I am counting the minutes before some scientists reveal the deep connection between a chocolate cupcake and our happiness level.

Now for this week wish, it has something to do with you and Bali (and a little bit of shopping on my part). I always want to host a successful giveaway, so this time I got you something !! It is from Bali and I’m going to give it away to a lucky(?) one that leaves a comment below. If there are more than one of you, God bless the blog, I will choose one randomly, and ship it to you wherever you are, so do drop a comment.

Giveaway Make Up Pouch
The Giveaway Pouch — ignore the cat, he just want to be in the pic, as usual..

My reason for doing this, other than I am a nice person, is that I like you. I genuinely like you for spending time reading this blog, I want to get to know and hug you for it, but since the flight ticket is crazy expensive this time of the year, I choose to send you something instead, something I like.

It’s a make up pouch, it’s biscuits holder, it’s a postcard keeper, and it’s my favorite. This zipped bag comes in pink color. It’s printed with a Bali street sign; Legian and Seminyak (we are staying here) are two of the most famous touristy areas in Bali. It’s waterproof (I think), and it’s big enough to carry a sunscreen, a book and your sunnies; or a kindle and a box of chocolate; or to keep your receipts. You know whatever that rocks your boat.

The deadline for the comment is by next Monday before I post my next Weekly Wish. You have the whole week to drop one and tell me that you love me or maybe just to say Hi. For my neighbor who is reading this, oh c’mon I know you do! You should be a bit subtler with your “hints”, the giveaway is open for you as well. I do hope some of you will join the fun and help my weekly wish to come true.

I am linking up with Melyssa, who is behind this fab Weekly Wishes. Thank you Mel for featuring my last week’s memories theme photo.

Okay you guys I have to go now, time for dinner and I’m thinking Nasi Campur at Warung Made. Before I go, do you like freebies? Oh I know I do! Have you hosted or participate in a giveaway before? Am I doing it right?

Enjoy Thanksgiving week and thank you for reading my blog.

Taking a cooking class in a different country is great because you can make things at home to remind you of your holiday. I did one in Thailand and I still use the recipes I got there.

Even if the giveaway expired, had to comment! Just nice to have someone who does this the old way, just by leaving comments, instead of the never ending entries in rafflecopter! Thanks for making me feel normal (sort of ;-))!

Thank you very very much for above comment. It meant a lot 🙂 I like rafflecopter as well but I find this a much straight way to share. Please join the next giveaway on the last week of the month.
