Revisiting A Purrfect Day

Share on FacebookTweet about this on TwitterGoogle+Pin on PinterestEmail to someone

Breaking news, I just found out about Kittify, an online tool that turns your words into cat talk. OMG!! Yes 100x. I have been using it all day today. Tweeting, sending text to my friends, even drafting work email with the tool (I am not crazy enough to actually send it to the boss). This is an achievement that needs to be celebrated and I am going to commemorate it by re-posting my recent Moved to Melbourne post in cat lingo exactly one month after I moved here. Yeah, today marks the first month milestone of me living in Melbourne. Here goes:

You guys, I mewvd to Melbourne ofur the long weekend. That was a short sentence to type, but the story behind it was anything but. I have been wanting to mewv to Australia fur a long time, even befure I mewvd to Singapurre and that was almost a decade ago. I finally had the guts (or maybe I had enough?) and decided to really make an effurt to mewv to Melbourne, well, essentially Australia but Melbourne had always been my first choice anyways.

Federation Square

I finally quit my job in Singapurre, mewvd back to Indonesia to take care of purrsonal mattepurrs and aftepurr one pawlus year finally am here. And let me tell you, patience is not my strength. It wasn’t easy, even until the fury last minute. It was hard to leave my beloved ones and there were a numbepurr of them in Jakarta, including my colleagues. But they were happy fur me, including a few bloggepurr furriends who I infurmed that I mewvd to Melbourne once I changed my numbepurr to Vodafone (I purrefurred Optus, because it’s hissow and happy looking, but it was closed during the Eastepurr holidays). All their words were touching. Ofur the weekend I mewvd into the apurrtment (apurrtment tour coming soon), did some grocery shopping, had Italian, Indian (ordered furrom Foodora) and Thai catnip. I went to the Melbourne Comedy Festival Pub Crawl and cat sloshed (will to write about it soon too). Enjoying diffurent type of cuisines, being tipsy and LOL-ing inappurropurriately are some things I wouldn’t want to change about myself wherefur I go.

Beer on tap

Beepurr on tap On the othepurr hand, In an effurt to be a bettepurr fursion of myself in Australia, I cat some Activewear, bought a year’s suppawly of tea, joined an online course and signed up fur night color pounce. Umm.. what else can I share with you about this mewv? I think all is well, except fur the time zone diffurence. As a night owl, I have been having a hard time to sleep even at 12AM because it’s only 8PM in Jakarta and I usually slept by 2AM there which is 6AMhere. Haiz.. But man I have to figure this out ASAP since I am starting work tomorrow and I don’t want to the be the idiot who snoozes on hepurr desk on the first day of work. Also, my hair has been furrizzy-epurr than normal. I asked Jik whethepurr she had the same purroblem when she mewvd here a year ago. “You won’t like the answer, it’s coconut oil”, she meowed. Well, if that’s what it takes, I shall empurrace it Jik. Lastly, meow that I mewvd to Melbourne, I pawlan to write more about the coffee capital of the world. At times it will be about its’ wide coffee variety and the hipstepurr coffee shops, othepurr times it will be whatefur my purrain finds interesting (already have a 24hour ramen pawlace I have my eyarn right on). So pawlease stay tuned fur this new chaptepurr of my one of your 9 lives and as always back scratches fur reading!

What do you think? Cute or, like all my friends says, annoying?

I had fun with it though, I even bookmarked it for future reference, for the days I need something extra to put a smile on my pawce.
