Goodbye from Melbourne Airport *sad face*
Greetings my blog friends. I’m writing to you from Melbourne airport. For some reasons we are stranded here for hours before going back, which means taking another flight to Sydney first before going home to Singapore.
Just when I was going to write off Melbourne from my to move-and-live-for-a-few-years list, we went out tonight and I got to see how it would feel to live there as a local. Walking from the Swanson street to Fidel street, there were coffee shops, bottle shops, Asian market, pubs, more pubs and Chinatown. It’s my destiny to live near Chinatown. And I am kinda in love with the Peri Peri sauce at Nando’s. Also, the 10 bucks bookstore?! I even found my future apartment.
Man, I belong here, all I need to do is just adjust to the cold weather.
My last morning in Melbourne was spent watching Ellen, shivering under the blanket while waiting for my turn to shower. The more f thing was that the heater was broken and I had to shower in the cold water in the morning and didn’t cry. How about that for adjusting to the cold weather.
This trip has been fantabulous. I had the awesomeness time with my friends, but like the end of many trips, I am always glad to be going back to my pink bed. I miss Hulk! Though it will be another week for me to see him, as he just started his Sydney trip today. Anyways, that’s that. It’s too early for me to think of what to else write since I had only like 3 hrs to sleep.
Instead, here I am eating McDonald’s bubble gum squash ice cream, served by a rude waitress who probably makes more than I do.
