Where do you blog the most?
I write almost everywhere; in the train, McDonald’s, office’s executive restroom, at a club, but most times I hit the publish button from my bedroom, on the picnic-table-turned-into-study-desk. It is my comfortable blog zone. We have a steady relationship, my laptop, the table and me. I like it, but I have been envying the hippie glasses wearing people who are typing away on their MacBook in the coffee shops. They look like a cool crowd. They look like they know what they are doing. They stop for a while to top up their drink or have a short conversation with the person beside them before going back to the writing world. They ARE my type of cool crowd.
I so want to join these glasses wearing crowd and follow the trend to write in public and be chic about it. Although I have done it once or twice in the past, I never found a place where I can comfortably blog even maybe become a regular. So that’s my weekly wish for this week: to find a place, outside my bedroom, where I can write a blog post.
I like the potential of this goal to push me out of my comfort zone also it gives an excuse to order a tall hot latte at night.
Hey, I forgot to update you on what happened on last last week’s weekly wish, to cook. I didn’t do it, it didn’t happen. Why? You ask, because there was no gas. I know, such a lame excuse, but that’s what happened. I ordered the gas a few days later, but by then I lost my motivation. My bad. Maybe I will pick up the same goal sometime soon.
As for my last week’s wish, to wear all my accessories, well it is still an ongoing process. I have been wearing different ones each day of the week, including the faux blue sapphire I bought after Kate Middleton got engaged and got a real 18 carat blue sapphire. Why oh why my past self? Why did you think it was a good idea? Believe me rocking what looked like a super fancy ring is my thing. I didn’t feel like myself, whenever I saw the glimpse of the ring which I wore to work last week, I had the need to stop my work, stand up and wave to my co-workers. I am keeping the ring though because I still believe I will get the invitation to the royal’s parties in the future. If you want to see the ring, check out Instagram under #rockingprincesskatesring or you can check out my Instagram account @foreigngeek for more accessories related hashtags.
Where do you blog? Do you have more than one place to blog? Have you ever blogged outside of your comfort blog zone? How does it feel? I am hoping to strike fun inspirations by changing the scenery. Let’s see.
