Annual Mini Blogging Break

You guys, I know I owe you a number of blog posts, including apartment tour and reviews of ramen restaurants. And I promise I will share all those stories with you soon, but not that soon. The thing is, I have a lot on my plate at the moment, what with moving to a new city, adapting to the new job and taking an online class. Unfortunately, it means the blog needs to move to the back on the priority line, as I don’t have time nor energy to update it these days. In short, I need, and am, taking a mini blogging break. My annual blogging break, which coincidentally also happened in April last year and the year before that.

Blogging Break

At first, I didn’t want to admit defeat, thinking I would get back on the blogging horse this weekend. But I used all my spare time either by half-assedly running or sleeping due to exhaustion of said running. This week BFF is coming to town and I have Zootopia and The Color Run on my calender on the upcoming weekend, hence I don’t think there will be any blogging done as well. That’s why I think taking a mini blogging break throughout this month would be a good way for me to stay sane.

I hope you guys are okay with that.

Even though I am taking a mini blogging break, I have been working sparingly on the backstage of this blog to make it better. I am also still active on Instagram, Twitter and my latest obsession, Zomato. Zomato is a restaurant search and review website that’s pretty popular here in Australia. Kinda like Yelp for restaurant, I think (I have never used Yelp before, but I watched a South Park episode about it). I can’t really say why I like Zomato a lot; My vocabulary for food and its’ taste is pretty limited and it’s not like I am a food blogger or anything. I even have not been writing proper foodie reviews for food’s sake, but I do like, and am a fan of, Zomato. Peer pressure, I guess? A sheer effort to adapt to the down under culture? Oh well, I wish I either to adapt or adjust faster so that I can have more time to write. But for this month, mini blogging break is the solution for me.

Thank you for reading and leaving comments. Your words never fail to put a smile on my face. I will back soon, meanwhile follow me on Zomato for mini blogging/food porn sessions.
